Announcing Your BOD Candidates

2017 Board of Director Candidates

Greater Nevada Credit Union’s Board of Directors is comprised of seven members who volunteer their time and experience to oversee the management of your credit union. Directors are elected to serve three-year terms, which expire on a rotating basis. This year, two Director positions are available and Greater Nevada is pleased to announce the three candidates who are seeking to fill those seats:
GNCU Board of Director Candidate

Ken Becker

Education: B.S. Certified Management Accountant, CPA, BA and MBA Degrees with emphasis in Accounting at the University of Wyoming

Statement: Decades of management and accounting experience as a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (Washington and Minnesota), and business co-founder will inform my contributions on the Board. Membership in over five credit unions in several states, and brief assignments as Controller for two of them provides additional insight into operations and the regulatory environment. Following frequent visits to Nevada for over fifteen years, I have now moved here and bring a background of community involvement elsewhere.

Our credit union will continue to be challenged to provide quality financial services to its members and help them reach their financial goals and I believe I can help in that process. It has been my pleasure to serve our members as a Board member.
