Kori Santos

Loan Servicing & Documentation Manager

Kori oversees the loan documentation and servicing departments for Greater Commercial Lending. She directs an internal team and partners with third-parties to accurately complete all aspects of processes related to construction loans and commercial loans with government-issued guarantees.

Her previous banking experience includes roles in loan administration and documentation, client services, and credit risk. She has a background in various settings, with past employers including the Rural Community Assistance Corporation and United Business Bank.

Kori is a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer, awarded by The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). She also earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Northern California.

Claudia Hill

Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Claudia’s more than 37 years of experience in commercial banking have been centered on commercial lending. She has supported borrowers in numerous areas, including commercial real estate, construction, residential development, business equipment, tenant improvement, and those pursuing SBA lending.

Prior to joining Greater Commercial Lending, Claudia worked for banks in Nevada and Texas; these diverse institutions ranged from a community bank to one of the largest in the nation. She attended financial courses at the University of Las Vegas and North Harris County Community College.

Claudia has served as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Toys for Tots.

Paula Orlaineta

Construction Lending Specialist

Paula joined Greater Commercial Lending to monitor and process draw requests for USDA, SBA and conventional loans for construction, renovations/improvements, FF&E and working capital loans. She maintains contact with third party funds monitoring and voucher control companies, and the borrower and general contractor throughout the entire project. She also reviews all related documentation related to draw processing to ensure compliance with agreements.

Previously, Paula supported clients of Morgan Contruction, Inc., and administered projects for United Construction. She also worked for ITS Logistics, where she provided administrative assistance to clients, vendors, and the HR team.

Paula has attended several business management courses at Truckee Meadows Community College.

Tylene Arnold

Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist

Tylene prepares, processes, and tracks documentation for Greater Commercial Lending borrowers applying for SBA and conventional loans. Previously, she worked for banking institutions in Washington state, including First Federal, Skagit Bank, and Washington Mutual Commercial Banking. Tylene supported commercial lending teams and relationship managers in ¬¬serving customers with operating lines of credit and CRE, construction, CRA, and HMDA loans.

Tylene studied business at Whatcom Community College, and also completed advanced finance and insurance competency training.

Andrea Parker

Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Andrea provides ongoing service to Greater Commercial Lending’s borrowers, delivering support throughout the entire lending process. She monitors key aspects of the commercial loan portfolio to ensure compliance with USDA, SBA, and Credit Union regulations.
Previously, Andrea was a Loan Servicing Specialist for the Rural Community Assistance Corporation. She serviced a USDA-guaranteed loan portfolio, which included the SBA PPP loan forgiveness program. She also worked in commercial loan processing and administration at banking institutions in California.

Ana Copelin

Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Ana handles all aspects of file maintenance for various types of commercial loans, while ensuring compliance with insurance requirements. She communicates with Greater Commercial Lending’s borrowers throughout the entire loan process, and ensures the accurate release of collateral by efficiently processing pay off requests and paid note files.

Ana’s previous experience in loan processing was at the Rural Community Assistance Corporation, based in West Sacramento, California. She specialized in USDA Rural Utility Services federal consumer loans. She also processed, closed, and serviced state program consumer and commercial loans.

Ana attended Santa Rosa Junior College, and has also taken business-related continuing education courses.

Curran Mulholland

Commercial Loan File Coordinator

Curran coordinates all aspects of the loan filing process for Greater Commercial Lending’s borrowers. This includes monitoring the portfolio file system and loan reporting requirements, collaborating with agencies to process loan payoff and collateral release requests, and working with closing agents to address outstanding matters. He also confirms continuous loan coverage by regularly reviewing insurance certificates.

With more than 13 years in the lending field, Curran was previously employed by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. He advanced from boarding services, to mortgage loan processing, executive escalations for the Office of the President, and quality assurance. 

Curran has participated in and enjoys supporting nonprofit organizations, including the Arizona Humane Society, the Special Olympics, and the Arizona Trail Association. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University.

Maggie Palomar

Commercial Loan File Coordinator

Maggie coordinates the process for managing commercial loan files for Greater Commercial Lending’s borrowers.

She monitors all aspects, ensuring a seamless experience for internal and external clients. This includes maintaining records, releasing collateral, and monitoring loan covenants, while continuously communicating with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters.

In previous roles, Maggie also specialized in providing outstanding customer service, while handling a range of loan processing and general management responsibilities.

Megan Penn Megan Penn

Institution Partner Relationship Manager

Megan applies her extensive experience in banking and lending to manage key aspects of investor relations transactions for Greater Commercial Lending. She oversees all related communications, ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all procedural documentation.

Previously, Megan held progressively responsible roles in the Greater Nevada Credit Union. As a liaison between multiple stakeholders, she focused on resolving issues related to front- and back-office technology. In addition, she oversaw bank operations while supervising a regional branch. Prior, she worked in customer relations and management at Wells Fargo Bank and Norwest Bank.

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada in Reno, where she studied speech, communication, and business administration. She has been involved in various community and charitable organizations, including the Special Olympics and Relay for Life.

Greg Castle

Institution Partner Supervisor

Greg maintains ongoing communication with Greater Commercial Lending’s investors, participants, and borrowers, providing support throughout all aspects of the USDA, SBA, conventional, and construction loan cycle. He prepares and processes documentation, disburses funds, and maintains financial records.

Prior, Greg progressed within US Bank, holding roles as Personal Banker, Branch Assistant Manager, and Branch Manager. In addition to providing guidance to existing customers, he developed new business and managed internal operations to reduce risk exposure.

Greg is a graduate of Montana State University at Bozeman, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

Matt Franzino

Institution Partner Specialist

Matt has been in financial services for 10 years, at Bank of the West and Wells Fargo Bank, working in personal banking, mortgage origination and operations, and financial advising. Prior to beginning his career in financial services, Matt founded and ran an organic vegetable farm, handling both business and horticulture operations.

He handles appraisals and flood determinations for Greater Commercial Lending, providing support for USDA, SBA, conventional, and construction loans. Along with setting up ACHs and developing remittance reports for the investors and participants, he books each loan into the internal system.

Heavily involved in the community, Matt serves as a mentor and is a volunteer with the Special Olympics, Bite of Reality, the Nevada Humane Society - Carson City, Keep Tahoe Blue, and Camp Lots of Fun.

Daniel Quesada

Institution Partner Specialist

Daniel functions as a liaison between Greater Commercial Lending and third-party stakeholders. He helps these brokers, dealers, investors, participants, and borrowers by maintaining ongoing communication and completing processes related to agreements for commercial loans sold on the secondary market.

In previous roles, Daniel served as a Branch Operations Specialist and Member Services Representative for the Greater Nevada Credit Union. He ensured a high-quality experience for members by monitoring cash flow for accuracy, coaching representatives, and providing support during transactions.

Before beginning his career with the Greater Nevada companies, Daniel’s gained banking experience at the Frontier Financial Credit Union and Wells Fargo Bank.

Marcus Miller

Institution Partner Specialist

Marcus serves as a key point of contact between Greater Commercial Lending and external brokers, dealers, investors, participants, and borrowers. Throughout the commercial loan process, he facilitates communications between parties, prepares documentation, processes payments, and provides ongoing support to stakeholders.

Previously, employed by the Greater Nevada Credit Union, Marcus was a member service representative. He assisted individuals with a variety of matters, including completing loan applications, conducting financial transactions, and opening new accounts.
Prior to joining Greater Nevada, Marcus held management, service, and sales roles within the food and beverage industry. He is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Yolanda Sotelo

Institution Partner Specialist

Yolanda has been a member of the Greater Nevada family of companies for several years, and currently serves as a liaison between the Greater Commercial Lending arm and borrowers of USDA, SBA, convention, and construction loans. She guides stakeholders throughout all aspects of the commercial loan process, functioning as a central point of contact.

Beginning her career in the Greater Nevada Member Resource Center, Yolanda subsequently moved to the South Reno Branch. She then advanced within branch operations and member services for the Spanish Springs location. She ensured excellent service by assisting members, coaching newly hired employees, and monitoring all equipment and processes for quality.

Yolanda attends the Nevada Leadership Program, where she has been learning best practices for conducting business within the state.
