Greater Nevada Credit Union
When choosing a financial institution, a lot of the decision making is centered on convenience. Is it conveniently located near my home or office? Can I access my accounts if I travel? Are there plenty of ATMs nearby? Often times, big banks come to mind first, but what most people don’t realize is that banking with a credit union has just as much value or even more than a bank.

Find out how you can bank at numerous credit union branches and ATMs across the nation through the CO-OP network and discover the added value it provides.

What is the CO-OP network?

CO-OP is an organization that works to bring credit unions across the country together. Not every credit union is a part of the network but thousands are.  Greater Nevada belongs to the CO-OP network which means our members have access to over 5,000 other shared branches and over 30,000 ATMs. In total, people who join a CO-OP connected credit union join a family that is 30 million card members strong. The following lays out some of the perks of shared branching and a large ATM network.

Get Personal, Face-to-Face Service

There are some things that are just comforting to speak to a person about face-to-face, especially when it comes to our money. Even though you might belong to a small local credit union, you don’t have to worry about not receiving a full-service experience when out of town. At a shared branch you can walk in and at no extra charge conduct numerous transactions such as making a loan payment, deposits and withdrawals, receive statement printouts and more.

On the Go Convenience

Now you don’t have to think twice about that last minute weekend road trip or business excursion. You can trust that where ever you go, you will get the same localized friendly service you would in your own home town with access to over 5,000 shared branches.

Avoid ATM Fees

With numerous ATMs in the CO-OP network, there is no need to spend $3 to $5 on an ATM fee again. There are over 30,000 ATMs in the network which can easily be looked up through the CO-OP ATM Locator app. Greater Nevada’s mobile banking app even has the feature built in so you can find and view everything in one place.

Remember that when choosing a financial intuition based on location convenience to think of your local credit union.
