Greater Nevada Credit Union Offering Assistance to Nevadans Affected by the Government Shutdown

US Capitol Building

The federal government is currently undergoing a shutdown, which is temporarily disrupting essential services and impacting the lives of many Nevadans and their families. In times like these, we have an opportunity to step up and support our members and the community by helping them navigate these challenging circumstances. GNCU is offering financial assistance to federal government employees affected by the loss of wages during the shutdown.

Below are some ways we can help through a Government Shutdown Assistance Loan and loan payment deferment for existing GNCU loans.

In times of unexpected financial challenges, we understand the increased strain on families and individuals. For additional resources, please visit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and Nevada 2-1-1. Together, we can provide support where it’s needed most.
