Travel Notifications

Before you depart on your next adventure, let us know where you will be headed so we can put a travel alert on your GNCU Visa debit card in order to prevent any possible security issues and to help prevent any fraudulent activity.

Domestic & Overseas Travel Notifications

Out-of-area and overseas transactions can sometimes result in blocked transactions. To help prevent this from happening, please let us know where you are traveling, and we will make a note on your account so that those processing your transactions do not end up blocking them.

Self-Service Option Through Card Controls (Preferred)

Card Controls within Greater Nevada Digital Banking is the easiest way to let us know of your upcoming travel plans. Simply do the following:

1. Click on Card Controls in the main menu.

2. Select Travel Notifications at the bottom of the page.

3. Select one or multiple cards you want to set a new travel notification for.

4. Select a departure and return date.

5. Choose where you will be traveling, Domestic or International.

6. Provide a traveling contact number.

7. Click Submit at the bottom of the page to finish.

Visit a GNCU Branch or Contact the Member Resource Center

If you are unable to do the self-service option noted above, then you will need to visit a GNCU branch or call the Member Resource Center at (800) 421-6674. They will help you complete a travel notification form on your behalf by answering a few basic questions.

For example:

  • Travelers: John and Jane Smith
  • Depart: 07/04/26
  • Return: 07/17/26
  • Countries: Ireland, France
  • Cell Phone: (123) 456-7890
  • Visa Cards: One debit card ending in 1234
