Help Local Students and Teachers Succeed
GNCU’s annual Greater School Supplies Drive is back! June 16 through July 31, you can drop off new school supplies or gently used children’s books at any GNCU branch.

Your donation helps support students and teachers in your community by easing the cost of classroom essentials.
Helping Nevada’s Students, Teachers, and Schools
Many students lack the necessary supplies to succeed in the classroom, and teachers often use personal funds to purchase them. According to DonorsChoose, teachers report spending $610 of their own money on school supplies for their students and classroom in 2024.
Since launching in 2021 and measuring with a standard shopping cart, GNCU’s Greater School Supplies Drive has collected and donated a significant amount of supplies over the years!
- 2024: 14 shopping carts full of supplies donated + 150 books to Spread the Word Nevada
- 2023: 22 shopping carts full of supplies donated
