Community Partners Fundraising Program

The Greater Nevada Credit Union Community Fundraising Program is more than a unique way for local nonprofits to raise funds and awareness for their cause. It plugs local nonprofits into a passionate network where they can connect with members of the community. It opens doors to helping and healing.

Since 2016, Over $414,420 has Been Raised

Through the program, GNCU partners with the Reno Aces baseball club to bolster fundraising initiatives of nonprofits, schools, youth sports leagues, and religious centers. They get to sell Aces tickets, keep a portion of the proceeds and even get bonus donations when they hit predetermined benchmarks.

In 2022, $58,320 was raised in ticket sales and $22,135 given to fundraisers through bonus donations.

This Year, We’re Offering New Benefits and Hoping to Raise Even More

Now, in 2023, participating groups receive a $500 bonus when they sell 100 tickets and an additional $2.50 for every ticket sold after the first hundred and up to an additional $500. As a result, they will have an opportunity to earn up to a $1,000 bonus donation from GNCU in addition to the funds provided through ticket sales.

Participating Organizations Also Enjoy Great Perks

All participants of the program are invited to attend the annual GNCU Partners Fundraiser Luncheon. Additionally, top fundraisers are eligible to win exciting prizes at Greater Nevada Field, including in-game concourse advertising of their organization, an on-field check presentation, ceremonial first pitch opportunities, autographed team memorabilia, and more!

The Community Partners Fundraising Program levels the playing field for non-profits who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to tell their story and build a fanbase of their own. It brings the community together. It helps more people Live Greater.
