Greater Nevada Credit Union’s Greater Giving Donation Drive Spreads Holiday Cheer in 2025

Thanks to our members and teams statewide, hundreds of Nevadans received support this holiday season to make it even greater!

GNCU wrapped up its 2025 Greater Giving Donation Drive with another inspiring show of generosity from members, employees, and community partners. Throughout November and December, donation barrels across northern Nevada were filled with food, toys, and essential items, all benefiting nonprofit organizations that support families and individuals during the holidays.

Food Donations

Food donations collected for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada

Branches and departments across the state collected a wide variety of nonperishable food items, ultimately delivering approximately 2,500 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and other local nonprofits. That means 2,500 meals for families in our community.

Toy Donations

GNCU members and teams also collected an impressive assortment of toys for local children, including thirteen full barrels plus three more pallets of boxed toys donated by Jakks Pacific through our partners at the Reno Aces!

These items were sorted by volunteers from GNCU’s Community Impact Committee and delivered to help local organizations distribute holiday gifts to the families they serve.
