What You Should Know About the TruStage Cybersecurity Incident

Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) is sharing this update to keep members informed about a cybersecurity incident reported by TruStage, a third-party provider of insurance and protection products offered through GNCU and many other credit unions.
This incident involves TruStage systems, not Greater Nevada systems. GNCU digital banking, debit cards, credit cards, and member accounts have not been impacted.
At this time, TruStage has not indicated that GNCU member information was accessed, acquired, or misused. Members do not need to take any action right now. If you need to file a claim there is a new way to start the process.
- Be cautious of unsolicited emails, phone calls, or text messages that reference this incident or ask for personal or financial information.
- Do not click links or open attachments from unexpected messages claiming to be related to TruStage, Greater Nevada Credit Union, or this incident.
- Review account activity as you normally would and report any suspicious activity right away.
