You know that community service is a collective effort, and that by working together we can have a greater impact. That’s why for every auto loan, we will donate $25 on your behalf to a charitable organization dedicated to serving others in your industry.
The following conditions apply to the Community Heroes program: Membership/ownership with Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) is open to anyone living or working in any of Nevada’s 17 counties, and members of their immediate family. Offers may not be combined with any other special offers or promotions. To qualify for the $150 bonus deposit for new checking accounts, all accounts must be in good standing, at least one direct deposit must post and clear, you must be enrolled in GNCU’s Digital Banking, and you must be enrolled to receive electronic statements (eStatements) within 90 days of opening an account. Bonus will be credited to your checking account within 30 days after the initial 90-day period has passed and all qualifications have been met. Student Cash Back Checking accounts are not eligible for the bonus. One direct deposit requirement is waived only for students of the University of Nevada, Reno; Western Nevada College; and Great Basin College. All loans are subject to approval by GNCU. The 90-day no payment option for a new or refinanced auto loan will extend your loan by three months, and finance charges will accrue on the unpaid principal. The $100 credit towards purchasing Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) or Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) coverages will be credited to the auto loan as an additional principal-only payment within 30 days upon the new auto loan account opening. The $25 donation for opening a new auto loan will be awarded to the designated nonprofit chosen for your specific employer/industry. This donation will be included in the overall donation that is awarded on a quarterly basis. All offers are subject to change or cancellation without notice except as required by law.
