About the Educational Branch

Our Carson High School educational branch, a 250-square-foot branch located inside the high school, opened in 1996. It’s designed to give students the opportunity to receive real-world job experience, earn class credit, and learn about managing money.

The students who work inside the educational branch must first participate in a banking class and undergo two weeks of training at Greater Nevada. Many of the students who have worked at the educational branch have gone on to careers at Greater Nevada Credit Union and other financial institutions in Nevada.

The branch is open only during the school year from 7:15 AM – 1:15 PM, Monday – Friday, and is available to all Greater Nevada members for conducting transactions, opening new accounts, or obtaining financial information.

  • Various athletic programs such as football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball as well as cheer.
  • Arts and educational programs including choir, culinary, green house, business and band.
  • Student events such as Career Expo, Big Blue Welcome, Safe Grad, Senior Projects, and Prom.
  • And more!
