Greater Nevada Credit Union’s members, employees, and other supporters unite each summer to collect and donate new school supplies to help local students start the new school year on the right foot. This collective effort highlights our passion for our kids’ educational success.

Helping Nevada’s Students, Teachers, and Schools

Many students lack the necessary supplies to succeed in the classroom, and teachers often use personal funds to purchase them. According to DonorsChoose, teachers report spending $610 of their own money on school supplies for their students and classroom in 2024.

Since launching in 2021 and measuring with a standard shopping cart, GNCU’s Greater School Supplies Drive has collected and donated a significant amount of supplies over the years!
