Washoe County Christmas Lights Recycling Drive
This holiday season, GNCU is teaming up with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) in support of their 2025 Christmas Lights Recycling Drive!
From Dec. 15 – Jan. 11, GNCU’s branches in Washoe County will serve as drop-off locations for members of the credit union and community to responsibly dispose of non-working and unwanted Christmas lights.

Greater Giving Donation Drive
Every fall, GNCU collects food, toys, and monetary donations at branches, with all items going to local charitable organizations to brighten the holidays for those in need. ** Donations are being accepted Nov. 10 – Dec. 10 at all GNCU branches **

Bite of Reality
GNCU is committed to helping teens and young adults in our communities learn financial responsibility. We’re proud to partner with the RMJ Foundation to bring the Bite of Reality simulation to teens across Nevada.

GNCU Scholarship Program
GNCU Scholarships help more people pursue their undergraduate, technical, or trade school education goals. We’ve proudly awarded $671,500 in scholarships to 449 recipients since the program began in 2000.
Greater School Supplies Drive
GNCU’s members, employees, and other supporters unite each summer to collect and donate new school supplies to help local students start the new school year on the right foot.
