Greater Nevada Credit Union Is Now a Division of America First Credit Union
Effective October 1, 2026, Greater Nevada begins operating as Greater Nevada Credit Union, A division of America First. The merger is now complete, following the receipt of all required approvals, and we’re excited to begin this next chapter together.
We are confident you will begin to experience the new benefits of becoming part of America First in the months ahead. For now, the most important thing to know is simple: no changes are required for your day-to-day banking today.

Your accounts, loans, cards, direct deposits, automatic payments, online banking access, branches, and ATMs remain available and working as usual.
Members will begin to see updates and enhancements over time as we bring together the strengths of both organizations. We are committed to communicating any changes clearly and providing advance notice when action may be required on your part.
Day-to-Day Banking Stays the Same
There are no immediate changes to your accounts, loans, cards, deposits, direct deposits, automatic payments, online banking, branches, or ATMs. Here’s what you can expect:
- No immediate changes to your accounts, loans, debit or credit cards, or how you bank
- Continued access to online banking, branches, and ATMs
- Your deposits remain federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to applicable limits
- The same fraud protections and security you rely on today remain in place

As we continue bringing our organizations together, members can expect ongoing enhancements designed to improve convenience, access, and value.
While most of your banking experience remains unchanged, some updates have already begun.
- Selected deposit rates have increased.
- Some fees have been reduced or eliminated.
- Certain new loan products now offer improved pricing.
These updates generally apply to newly opened accounts and newly originated loans. Existing account and loan agreements remain subject to their current terms unless otherwise communicated.

Greater Nevada Credit Union now operates as Greater Nevada Credit Union, A division of America First Credit Union. You can continue banking the same way you do today, and we’ll keep you informed as future enhancements and updates become available.
What does becoming part of America First mean for me?
Greater Nevada Credit Union is now a division of America First Credit Union. As a Greater Nevada member, you are now part of America First Credit Union and will continue to be served under the Greater Nevada name. Today, you can continue banking the same way you do now, with the same accounts, cards, online banking access, branches, and trusted local team members.
Over time, members can expect expanded access to convenient locations, additional products and services, and other enhancements as we continue bringing our organizations together. As future updates become available, we will communicate them clearly and well in advance.
Do I need to do anything?
No. There is nothing you need to do today. You can continue using your accounts and services as you always have.
Are my accounts changing?
No. Your accounts, loans, debit cards, credit cards, direct deposits, and automatic payments continue to work as they do today.
Is my money still federally insured and secure?
Yes. Deposits remain federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to applicable limits.
Will I be notified before any future changes?
Absolutely. We are committed to providing clear communication before any future updates that may affect your banking experience.
What new benefits can I expect?
Over time, members can expect access to expanded capabilities, a broader branch and ATM network, additional useful financial products, and continued investment in Digital Banking solutions and improvements to member experience.
What will happen to Greater Nevada branches?
There will be no immediate changes. All GNCU branches will continue operating as Greater Nevada, A division of America First Credit Union. You will continue to see the same trusted team members in your favorite local branches.
Will the Greater Nevada name and local presence remain?
Yes. We plan to continue using the Greater Nevada name locally, as Greater Nevada Credit Union, A division of America First. Local leadership, operations, and community involvement will remain an important part of who we are.
What if I have accounts at both America First and Greater Nevada?
For now, keep using your America First and Greater Nevada accounts as you do today. The accounts and their current access points remain separate. If that changes, we will communicate clearly and well in advance, along with any steps you may need to take.
